How Routinely works
What is the difference between Do-Date and Due-Date?
Choose a day to work or a deadline to finish.
Direct answer
Do-Date keeps the task on that day’s to-do list until the planner makes enough focus time. Due-Date records when it must be finished.
How to choose
- When creating or editing a task, choose Do-Date if you want to work on it on a particular day.
- Choose Due-Date if it has a deadline; you can add an exact deadline time or leave it at the date only.
- Add a realistic effort estimate so Routinely knows how much focus time to make.
